Ringo Starr announces 2018 All Starr Band tour dates; reveals new lineup
Ringo Starr will be bringing his All Starr Band back on the road in 2018, and has announced plans for a tour of Europe and Israel that’s scheduled for June and July. For the first time in six years, the group will feature some changes to the lineup, with Men at Work‘s Colin Hay and 10cc‘s Graham Gouldman joining the band, replacing Todd Rundgren and Mr. Mister‘s Richard Barnes.The All Starr Band will continue to feature Toto‘s Steve Lukather, ex-Santana member Gregg Rolie, Warren Ham, and Gregg Bissonette. Hay previously played with the group in 2003 and 2008.The new trek is scheduled to kick off June 5 in Paris and is mapped out through a July 11 concert in Rome. The All Starrs’ European dates also include stops in the Netherlands, Germany, Finland, Denmark, Czech Republic, Austria, Spain, Luxembourg, Monaco and two Italian cities other than Rome. In addition, the band will play a June 23-24 engagement in Tel Aviv, Israel.Ringo’s latest outing wrapped up with a November 16 show in Newark, New Jersey. Starr released a new solo album, Give More Love, in September.Here are all of the All Starr Band’s conformed 2018 tour dates:
