2026 was the biggest year yet of Ringo’s annual Peace & Love birthday celebration, with over 60 local events around the world. Manifesting his wish to create a wave of peace & love over the planet on his birthday, the events began in New Zealand, and traveling at Noon across all time zones, they culminated in Beverly Hills with Ringo, and then their messages were transmitted into Space via Planet Lab satellites. In Beverly Hills, Ringo and his wife Barbara Bach Starkey were joined by friends and family at Beverly Hills Garden Park by his Peace and Love sculpture, including Marjorie Walsh, Warren Ham, Colin Hay, Jim Keltner, Steve Jordan, Blake Mills, Alex & Erika Orbison, Matt Sorum, Diane Warren, Gabe Witcher, and more. T Bone Burnett led a true Nashville Country tribute, with a band he called the Texans, which included musicians Molly Tuttle, Sarah Jarosz, Daniel Tashian, David Mansfield, Colin Linden, Jeff Picker, and Ketch Secor. Gregg Bissonette & Steve Lukather led a group singalong of The Beatles’ “Birthday,” with Adopt the Arts kids joining friends and family on stage.
