The Beatles Story Museum, owned and operated by Mersey Travel is located on the historical Royal Albert Dock, and was opened on 1 May 1990.
The Beatles Story contains re-creations of Mona Best’s Casbah Coffee Club, The Cavern Club, located just a few blocks away on Mathew Street, John & Yoko’s music room, and Abbey Road Studios among other historical Beatles items, such as John Lennon’s glasses, George Harrison’s first guitar, one of Ringo’s rare Ludwig Drum Kits, toys, memorabilia, collectibles and a detailed history about the solo careers of each of the Fab Four. The museum was recognised as one of the best tourist attractions of the United Kingdom in 2015.
This space contains some amazing examples of the history of The Beatles. You can also grab a bite at their Fab4 Cafe. This is on the “must do” list for any Liverpool visit.
