DeKALB – Liverpool Legends, one of the most recognized Beatles tribute bands, will bring Beatlemania to DeKalb with a Nov. 4 performance at the Egyptian Theatre. The four musicians in the Grammy-nominated band were hand-selected by Louise Harrison, sister of the Beatles’ late lead guitarist, George Harrison.”Each member of the group is so close to the originals that I often feel like I’m transported back in time with the lads,” Harrison said in a news release. “These are exactly the kind of fun-loving, quality musicians that my brother George would have loved to hang out with.”Liverpool Legends’ set list includes songs from the entire career of the Fab Four, including solo projects. The band has performed at a number of famous venues from Beatles lore, such as Carnegie Hall, where the Beatles performed after their 1964 appearance on “The Ed Sullivan Show,” and Busch Stadium, where the Beatles played in 1966 to a crowd of 23,000 in the pouring rain.If you goWho: Liverpool Legends, Beatles tribute bandWhen: 7:30 p.m. Nov. 4Where: Egyptian Theatre, 135 N.
