Sir Paul McCartney has stepped in to help a community group get a £2 million project which will benefit deprived children off the ground.The former Beatle still owns High Park Farm, the first home he shared with late wife Linda, on the Kintyre peninsula.He has helped the Seasports Project in Campbeltown by donating three items of McCartney memorabilia to be auctioned. To add value, all the items are to be “personalised” by Sir Paul, with the names of the winning bidders.Sir Paul has has got the auction rolling by donating the twin DVD set Eight Days
