Musician Rudolf revisits British Invasion – Daily Southtown
Guests who show up early for the 7 p.m. performance of “The British Invasion Show” at the Flossmoor Library can have some fun showing off their ’60s musical knowledge in an on-screen trivia game on the subject.After that, everyone can sit back and relax Jan. 19 while award-winning musician Dave Rudolf takes the audience on a trip down memory lane, keeping it simple all the way. “No wigs, no costumes, just the music,” Rudolf says about the performance. “I’m not trying to be the Beatles or Paul McCartney or any of those groups. I’m just doing songs of the era (for) the memories that are there.”Rudolf, 66, remembers the iconic performers — individuals and bands — in both history and song, featuring The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, The Kinks, The Who and Donovan, among others.
