The Beatles have topped a new list to find the most valuable vinyl records.A copy of the group’s self-titled album, commonly known as the “White Album” and owned by drummer Ringo Starr, tops LoveAntiques.com’s round-up of the rarest.The album sold at auction for over $923,000 last year.The Fab Four rule the top three, with the pre-Beatles The Quarrymen’s “That’ll Be The Day/In Spite Of All The Danger” coming in at two, and a one-sided acetate of the group’s 1963 single “Love Me Do” in third position.Jean Michel Jarre’s “Music For Supermarkets” and Frank Wilson’s Northern Soul classic “Do I Love You (Indeed I Do)” round out the top five, while the Sex Pistols’ God Save The Queen, The Beatles’ “Please Please Me,” Robert Johnson’s “Kind Hearted Woman Blues,” and “Bohemian Rhapsody/I’m In Love With My Car” by Queen also feature in the top 10.
