Beatles-Signed Morecambe and Wise Script Discovered in Suitcase

A rare 1964 television script signed by all four Beatles has emerged after spending approximately 60 years in a suitcase. The script, from the group’s appearance with British comedy legends Eric Morecambe and Ernie Wise on Two of a Kind, bears the signatures of John Lennon, Paul McCartney, George Harrison and Ringo Starr in blue ballpoint pen.

The document is part of approximately 400 lots from Ernie Wise’s estate being offered at auction on November 27, 2026. Its estimated value is £4,500–£6,500. The original television appearance included the Beatles performing three songs and joining Wise for their memorable comic rendition of “Moonlight Bay.” Lancaster Guardian
