Ringo Starr usually didn’t have any problem being the one Beatle in the background most of the time.He didn’t like the idea of hogging the stage whenever he made one of their records, and even though he has carved out a career for himself as a living legend without his band, his All-Star Band is proof that he was always willing to make music with a couple of buddies rather than be the centre of attention. He liked the idea of having his moment in the spotlight, but he knew that there were some moments throughout his old band’s tenure that weren’t suited to his taste.
