It had to take something truly special to impress John Lennon whenever he wrote with The Beatles.As much as people loved every single line that he ever laid down with the band, he felt that there was so much more that needed correcting every single time he looked back on some of their classic records. He knew that he wasn’t nearly as perfect as everyone else claimed that he was back in the day, but he did understand when some of their tunes needed to be perfect in the studio before anyone heard them.
