Fans of Sir Paul McCartney were thrilled when he provided a peek behind the scenes of his latest album announcement. The legendary Beatles icon is reconnecting with his Merseyside roots through his upcoming record, The Boys of Dungeon Lane, scheduled for release on May 29.At 83, the music legend is embracing nostalgia with this new collection of songs, reflecting on his early years in Liverpool before his stratospheric success with the Fab Four. Dungeon Lane references a street in Speke where the young McCartney would pass endless hours playing and watching birds. The album’s debut single, Days We Left Behind, was released last month and features the lyric that inspired the record’s name.
