Being a part of the rock and roll set meant, to some extent, living up to the rebellious nature that underwrote the entire genre. To be a rocker was to be naturally wild and that was an expectation some artists took extremely seriously, especially the late Keith Moon.On one of his press tours, Alice Cooper once noted the vast disparity between the stories you hear about Cooper and his wild ways and the reality behind them. He suggested that the stories you heard were only ever about a third true, but that every story you heard about The Who’s wild man was not only true, but that you’d only heard a third of them.
