Sir Paul McCartney has wished his long-standing friend and former bandmate Sir Ringo Starr a “fabulous day” on his 84th birthday. The former Beatle, 82, shared a photo to Instagram of the pair laughing together to mark the occasion on Sunday, which also marks his late father’s birthday. It comes ahead of Sir Ringo, whose real name is Richard Starkey, hosting his annual “Peace and Love” birthday celebrations in Los Angeles.
