But the mystery we’re covering today could net someone millions of dollars — the mysterious saga of John Lennon’s first guitar.The most popular and long-standing story about John Lennon’s first guitar indicates that it was a guitar that his aunt Mimi bought for him for 17 quid but was lost to the sands of time. However, Andy Babiuk, in the book “Beatles Gear” did a lot of research and put forth a very convincing case that seems to disprove this theory.
