McCartney Times

Totally blown away by Mendips, less so by McCartney house. Being over 60 I remember many if the things the homes contained and it was nostalgic even without the Beatles connections. But whilst Pauls home was musical and welcoming, Johns home was stifling and mildly repressive and it all comes out in the furniture. By the time the tour of Mendips was through I felt I almost knew Auntie Mimi and her wayward charge John.
