NEW ORLEANS (WGNO) – You’ve probably heard it.It’s one of the songs made famous by the Beatles.It’s from 1968.It’s called Dear Prudence.The Beatles wrote it after a trip to India. They were in India learning to meditate. And so was Prudence.Prudence is Prudence Farrow. She’s the sister of actress Mia Farrow. They are the daughters of actress Maureen O’Sullivan who was Jane in many of the Tarzan movies with Johnny Weissmuller back in the 30’s and 40’s.Back to the Beatles and a four-month long meditation school, where Prudence spent most of her time in her room meditating. That’s what she was doing as John Lennon and George Harrison were knocking at her door. As the song says, they wanted her to come out and play.
