James McCartney, singer/son of Paul McCartney, announced the release Feb. 19 of a new album, “The Blackberry Train,” that will hit the streets on May 6. The opening track on the album, “Too Hard,” gets some help from another Beatle’s son, Dhani Harrison. “I wrote it in L.A, and tried to infuse it with a country feel to really bring out that desperation, and the idea of trying too hard,” McCartney said. “Dhani Harrison came into the studio and we both collaborated on the guitar solo in the song.” “Too Hard” is also the first song from the album available to preview.
