On this day in 1967, Paul McCartney meets a young photograher Linda Eastman, while attending a concert by Georgie Fame and the Blue Flames at London’s ultrahip Bag O’Nails club. They met again four days later at a launch party for Sgt Peppers Loneley Hearts Club Band at Brian Epstein’s house. they met again one year later to the day when Paul appears with John Lennon on the NBC-TV’s Tonight Show to talk about their upcoming venture, Apple Records.
