To McCartney Multimedia, John Burnes brings years of experience, leadership and recognition in marketing communications, strategy and production in higher education and other sectors.

For more than three years he was director of publications for Loyola Marymount University in Los Angeles, producing nationally recognized and honored publications, video production and Website work. He and his staff produced more than 250 publications a year, including the award-winning Vistas magazine and its corresponding Website (www.lmu.edu/vistas/). He and his staff also won awards for their innovative approach to fundraising materials.

His videos, which he wrote, produced and presented, also won recognition and awards. He also produces other significant print, Web and video work for a variety of other clients, including Anheuser-Busch; the City Employees Club of Los Angeles; the National University of Ireland, Galway; Saint Louis University; the St. Louis Post-Dispatch; and others.

In addition to his nonprofit and corporate endeavors, John is a writer and musician.

John holds a BA from St Louis University in Communications with a writer certificate. And also a Minor Degree in Music. John is also an MFA graduate from Loyola Marymount University in screenwriting.
