“The mistake by the lake”
Is a funny and undeserved nickname for a great city.

Ruth was the national speaker on behalf of the American accounting association and they generously parked us at the Wyndham hotel downtown in the Playhouse Square District.

Rock’n Roll Hall of Fame
The next morning was Ruth speech, followed by our VIP tour of the Rock’n roll hall of fame.
We decided to walk and stopped at the market cafe and wine bar on the way.
Very cool place, generous portions of food at really cheap prices. Definitely worth a stop if you want to walk to the Rock Hall.
Since the name McCartney is synonymous with Rock’n Roll, we of course had to stop by the Rock’n roll hall of Fame and Museum and they gave us our own private VIP tour through the 5 storey structure. One is quite easily overwhelmed by the amount of exhibits, instruments, costumes, video walls and virtually everything music and recording.
All housed in a glass pyramid structure with spectacular views of all the levels and floors of the exhibitions. You have the feeling that you are living music history under glass. Far is it from me to explain the tour, the website and the resident guides do that much better, but I felt like a little kid in a Rock’n Roll toy store!
Nicely done and I will be back to take in all the stuff that i didn’t get to see on the first time out.
So, if you are ever in that neck of the woods, please do visit “the. Is take by the lake” because you are going to be In for a treat.
