Behind The Beatles
This down-to-earth Mother/Daughter duo share the true stories behind the songs, their rare family photos, multimedia movies and the crazy fans’ antics on the long and winding road from The Cavern Club to The Hall of Fame. A 90-minute multimedia event, it features a live band led by Glenn Goss, interpreting the music of the Fab Four, Angie & her anecdotes, Ruth & her revelations, never before seen insider interview footage, the stories behind the songs, the times and the Fabs from people who lived it every day in Liverpool and London, from inside the eye of Hurricane Beatles. The magic, myths and memories. Imagine all those Yesterdays! About The McCartneys In 1964 Angie & Ruth got their ticket to ride when Angie married Jim McCartney, Paul’s dad. Ruth McCartney, Paul’s step-sister, hosts an intimate insider journey for Beatle fans, together with her Mum, the last living Beatle parent, the funny and feisty octogenarian Angie McCartney. They have been Playa del Rey residents and business owners since 1997. This evening is a fundraiser to benefit the non-profit Beit T’ Shuvah Center on Venice (opposite The Helms Bakery)
