french illustrator jean jullien, creator of the peace for paris symbol, continues to spread ideas of love and harmony by working with with one of most important messengers of peace in contemporary history, john lennon. jullien has illustrated a picture book titled ‘imagine‘ — a story set alongside lyrics from lennon’s powerful 1971 hit single, whose message is as relevant to society today as it was when it was released. the publication follows the journey of a pigeon as she sets out to spread hope and tolerance across the world.

‘this book is very special to me,‘ writes yoko ono lennon in the publication’s foreword. ‘the words were written by my husband john and it makes me so happy to see them illustrated in this beautiful book. he wrote imagine as a song calling for peace around the world. today, we need peace more than ever, so I think his words are still very important.’

featuring the lyrics of lennon’s immortal song, and created in collaboration with amnesty international, the book illustrated by jullien seeks to inspire a new generation to consider a world at peace. ‘imagine’ is currently available for pre-order will be available in september 2017.
