The Piano Man hitmaker’s guest stint began on Friday (21Jul17), and during his sessions, he will reflect on the iconic band’s music.

On his first show, he discussed the band’s album Meet the Beatles and The Beatles’ Second Album.

“Just like you, I love the Beatles,” read a statement from Joel. “I still think that they were the best band that ever was. And I’m going to go through their albums and talk about some of the songs that have stayed with me the rest of my life.”

Joel is known for performing live versions of the band’s songs and recently debuted a rendition of A Day in the Life to commemorate the 50th anniversary of Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band.
