John Lennon will be honored with a Forever stamp from the United States Postal Service next year.

Lennon — who, ironically, fought the U.S. government over deportation during the early 70s — will be part of a new celebrity issue that will include stamps honoring Mr. Rogers, Lena Horne and astronaut Sally Ride as well as stamps depicting “stunning photographs of America’s dramatic landscapes” to commemorate the song “America The Beautiful.”

Lennon’s stamp is part of a Music Icons series that’s previously included Elvis Presley, Ray Charles, Johnny Cash and others. The USPS says the release date and other “detailed information” about the stamps will be announced in the future.
